A SUSPECTED drink driver was arrested in Flintshire last night, police have said.
North Wales Police's Roads Unit said the arrest was made in the Buckley area on Sunday night.
Police said the motorist appeared to be driving "rather slowly", and during a stop check the driver, "who smelt heavily of alcohol", provided a positive roadside reading and was arrested. He also didn’t have a policy of insurance.
The driver provided a custody reading of nearly two times the legal limit. They were charged with drink driving and the vehicle has been seized.
