It was a 'steady day' for Wrexham City police on Tuesday as their police inspector gave his latest update.
Inspector Luke Hughes once again provided his update on incidents dealt with by police in the last 24 hours.
There was a wide range of incidents, including thefts, police chases and assaults, which ended with two people in custody.
Tuesday began with police being called to a large retailer in Plas Coch where eight jars of honey had been stolen, which led Inspector Hughes to ask: "Since when did honey become such a valuable commodity?".

At 9.48am, the force were called to Wrexham general train station, where there were reports of a distressed male. Inspector Hughes confirmed that support was offered and a potential tragedy was avoided.
Into the afternoon and Wrexham City Police had the first of what they expect to be two reports of counterfeit £50 notes at two local retailers.

At 5.42pm, officers supported the fire service at a house fire on Herbert Jennings Avenue.
Police also received reports of bike stolen from the area of Island Green, Carrera in Blue, Green and White – taken at some point between 1.30pm and 7pm. – If you see an abandoned bike in the area, contact and quote B123978
At 10.41pm, officers were involved in a pursuit. Vehicles made off from officers, which forced a stinger to be deployed on Cefn Road, which brought the vehicle to a halt.
The 24 hours ended just after 9am this morning when officers attended an RTC on King Street, where a vehicle had collided with a lamppost.
