In the CCTV footage above, the man can be seen trying the door handle of the van before leaving the scene having failed to break into the vehicle.
A statement from the North Wales Police Wrexham Town team read: "You may recall I circulated a still image of a male we would like to talk to having been seen trying a door handle of a parked car last week.
"Attached is the CCTV footage. Note the clothing is far darker than the infrared camera makes them look, however it’s his head you need to focus on. Know him? Let me know as I need a 'chat'."
Anyone with information which could aid police in their search for the man, should call 101 and quote reference number 22000577767.
