Emergency services are dealing with a concern for safety incident in Llangollen.
The incident is at the river in Pontcysyllte, with a number of emergency services at the scene.
North Wales Police have asked the public to stay out of the river at this time.
A NWP spokesperson said: "Local officers, aircraft from NPAS and emergency service colleagues are currently dealing with a concern for safety incident in the the river at PONTCYSYLLTE LLANGOLLEN.
"Please stay out of the river at this location until further notice.
"We will issue an update when available."
The Welsh Ambulance have confirmed they are in attendance at the scene, a spokesperson said:
"We are at the incident, in response we sent two emergency ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and colleagues from the air ambulance."
North Wales Police have been approached for a further update.
