The forecast for Wrexham and Flintshire will finally see some rain in the next couple of days according to the Met Office.
Following yet another heatwave and the threat of drought, many are wondering when it will next rain.
This weekend is set to be another hot and dry few days, though the sunny spell is set to break on Monday, when the Met Office has forecast some much-needed rain but now a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms is in place for the whole of Wales.
Across Wales, on Saturday temperatures could reach a maximum temperature of 34 °C, though Sunday is set to be cloudier but still hot.

The Met Office has forecast it to be cloudier still on Monday with a chance of showers, but still feeling very warm. Tuesday is predicted to see more clouds, with some heavy and thundery.
The weather warning in place for Monday means that areas may expect locally heavy rain and possible disruption.
The Met Office said: "There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds
"Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
"Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
"There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost."
This weather warning is only in place on Monday and the weekend is still set to be hot and dry.
In Wrexham, today (Friday, August 12) will see a maximum temperature of 31 °C leading into a warm weekend. Temperatures are forecast to reach 32°C on Saturday and 30°C on Sunday. Light rain is forecast on Monday in the late morning, around 10 am with a maximum temperature of 25°C. On Tuesday, it is predicted to lightly rain for most of the day with highs of 20°C, leading into a much cooler week.
Flintshire will welcome a very similar forecast this week. In Flint, today will see the same highs as Wrexham, with a maximum temperature of 30 °C on Saturday and 28 °C on Sunday. Light showers are also forecast in the late morning on Monday with highs of 23°C and more frequent rain on Tuesday with a high of 20°C.

Over in Holywell, today is forecast to reach 29°C. The same temperature is predicted for Saturday and Sunday with forecast to reach 27°C. Holywell will also see some rain on Monday around 10am as temperatures reach 22°C, and even cooler on Tuesday at 19°C.
Hawarden, which has seen record breaking temperatures in recent weeks, is predicted to reach a high of 32°C today and throughout the weekend. According to the Met Office, Hawarden won’t see any rain until 4pm on Monday, which is predicted to reach a high of 25 °C. Tuesday has forecast more rain with a high of 21°C.
