The Royston Club are set to open a new music venue in town this weekend.
The Rockin Chair, formally known as Central Station was purchased by the same owners of the Parish bar in Wrexham earlier this year.
This Friday, the venue will officially open for the first time, with a host of musicians on show.
The event, which is already sold out, starts at 7pm and the artists performing are Overpass, Jonny Ash and Nineteen Forever indie disco.
However, the main performance will come from local group, The Royston Club.

The band, who had their own UK tour earlier this year are set to play their first gig in their hometown, something which drummer Sam Jones is certainly looking forward to.
He said: "Buzzing to be back in the home town, we haven’t had a gig here since before Christmas, so all looking forward to being back in Wrexham and to be opening a brand new venue which will hopefully be a big boost to the music scene in Wrexham.
"There’s always a good crowd in Wrexham, we always want our Wrexham gigs to be special because they're not that common."
The group has had a busy year so far and there is more to come over the next few months.

Sam added: "Tour was next level, that’s why you become a band, to try and play as much music to people as you can, we had 18 dates and festivals too so it was a very busy five weeks, but we loved every second of it.
"We’ve got a busy summer coming up, especially in August with quite a lot of festivals, some very good festivals too which were pretty proud of.
"We’re trying to come up with some new music, we’ll put our heads together over the next few months and try and come up with some. I don’t want to say too much but we’re going to try and hit the ground running in 2023."
