BIN collections in Wrexham will start earlier on Thursday and Friday due to the current heatwave.
With temperatures set to reach a scorching 30 degrees celsius on Thursday, bin collections will start at 6am for the next couple of days, rather than at the usual time of 7.30am.
This will help crews avoid the hottest times of the day. Wrexham Council has said collections may be suspended if the weather becomes too hot for its teams - as was the case in Flintshire during the last heatwave in July.

Wrexham Council said: "If your waste is due for collection tomorrow or Friday, please put your bins/boxes/bags out the night before if possible.
"If your collection is missed, please be patient while we work to complete collections as quickly as possible."
