CONCERNS have been raised for a dog that has been seen running around the Deeside area over the last day.
The dog, thought to be a brindle whippet, has been seen in the Queensferry, Aston and Hawarden areas.
Multiple posts on local social media have been made in relation to it.
The Dogs On The Streets North Wales charity posted on Facebook saying: "If anyone has a sighting of the dog that is loose in the Queensferry / Aston area - do not follow him just watch where he goes and let us know.
"It's too hot for him to be running around. If you see him, could you put the time you seen him so we can work out his route, please."
A concerned member of the public posted on social media yesterday saying: "I’m not from this area but there is a grey dog running around Queensferry and getting onto the main roads, it’s nearly been hit a few times.
"I tried to approach it to get him/her safe but he ran from me. He’s running like he’s trying to get home. He/she looks scared and dehydrated."
