POLICE in Wrexham have raised concerns about a spate of burglaries and break-ins which took place over the weekend.
Inspector Luke Hughes issued his latest daily update for the area on Monday, August 8.
He explains that a number of items have been stolen over the weekend in a series of what officers believed to be incidents 'linked' to one another.

Among the items thieves made off with were Makita power tools.
Inspector Hughes said: "Not the usual update from me today, more a call for help to stop what is an emerging crime spree.
"On Saturday (August 6) at around 4.20pm we had a call from the owner of a property at Coed y Ffynnon. It was apparent that a short time before someone had entered their garage and had stolen a EINHELL Jigsaw in a black case and a Makita Joiner in the traditional blue/green Makita colour case.
"I believe the offenders were also responsible for entering two sheds at the Erddig allotments a short distance away.
"Then, last night (Sunday, August 7) at around 11.30pm a vigilant neighbour on Dorset Drive noticed a male trying to gain entry to a garage at a neighbouring property, officers attended promptly but the suspect/s had already run off.
"This was frustratingly shortly after another burglary has been committed on Snowdon Drive.
"We are also linking the thefts of two bikes last night to the same offenders, Wellswood Road and Ffordd Owain being targeted. Ultimately I feel all six aforementioned incidents are linked.
PIC: Wrexham-based NWP Inspector Luke Hughes.
"My ask from you is twofold, firstly if you live in these areas and you have CCTV or ring doorbell cameras can you review the footage between last night (August 7) between 11pm – 1am and if you have anything captured, contact us quoting 22000571492.
"Secondly be extra vigilant, the warm weather has led to a few doors and windows being left open or unlocked and it’s clear that most of those offences are opportunistic.
"Prior to this series we had seen a significant reduction in domestic burglaries so it is clear to me these are linked and the same offenders responsible for all, let’s stop them now and get them back in prison where they belong. This will be our priority until stopped."
