A FLINTSHIRE-based choir has collected over £3,000 in support of the people of Ukraine.
Since the war with Russia broke out in Ukraine, millions of people have fled the country seeking safety and sanctuary in places such as North Wales.
Flintshire Council is currently calling on residents to offer Ukrainian refugees a place to stay.
And one choir based in the county has recently done its bit to support the refugees.

Côr Meibion Trelawnyd recently performed at a concert in partnership with the Dean, Nigel Williams and St Asaph Cathedral to raise money for the International Red Cross charity.
This event managed to raise a total of £3,022.65 which will be going towards helping the people affected by the war in Ukraine.

A spokesperson for the choir said: "Nigel visited the choir whilst we were at rehearsal in Trelawnyd to thank us once more and produced a cheque for £3,022.65 which he will present to the humanitarian organisation.
"We were all delighted with the amount raised!"
