A CHARITY supporting over 750 terminally children and their families is set to open new shops in Wrexham and Flintshire.
Hope House Children’s Hospices provide specialist nursing care and support to families in north and mid Wales as well as Shropshire and Cheshire.
It has now announced that it will be opening new shops in Wrexham itself and Mold, with the aim of generating new jobs and helping to raise vital funds for the charity.
Hope House will be returning to Mold and opening a new shop on High Street while also relocating its long-standing Wrexham shop from Charles Street to Island Green.

The shops are expected to open in the Autumn and recruitment has already started to find a manager for each site as well as weekend sales assistants.
Head of Retail Angela Whelan said: “We are really excited to be opening these two new shops. Both Wrexham and Mold are important towns for us in terms of the families we provide care for and the generous support we receive from the communities.
“We have been looking to return to Mold for some time, but have been waiting for the right shop to come along so now we’ve found it we can’t wait to welcome new customers and donors in the town.
“We are also delighted to be able to make the move to Island Green in Wrexham. We believe this more spacious shop will make it easier for supporters to drop off donations and come and shop with us as parking is available right outside the shop. It’s something we have found to be successful with other shops we have relocated.
“We do have a number of new jobs available as a result of the moves, which is great news, and we are eager to welcome new volunteers as well, as they are vital in making our shops a success.”

This latest move will take the number of shops the charity has from 14 to 15.
Commercial Director Andy Fergus, said: “Our shops play an important part in generating much needed funds for our hospices. As we recover from the impact of the pandemic, we are looking for opportunities to grow and improve our retail estate, and we are delighted to have been able to make great progress in the two towns.”
