STAFF at ASDA have completed a walk from Llangollen to Wrexham in aid of a baby diagnosed with a very rare disease
Archie Crute was recently diagnosed with Menkes disease which affects on average just one in 300,000 babies sadly meaning that life expectancy is just two to three years as there is, unfortunately, no cure.
The team at ASDA, Wrexham wanted to raise as much money as possible to support Archie’s family to make lasting memories.

The walk took place on Sunday, July 24 and even included two horses and Spider-Man!
Following the walk, photographer Rebecca Jones said: “We did it! Thank you to people who donated online – it’s much appreciated. People on boats and people in the pubs passed cash for our tins. We had fun in all-weather, even torrential rain but we all smashed it for little Archie.”
So far over £4,000 has been raised.
Donations can be made via the GoFundMe link. All money raised will help financially support Archie’s parents, Dan and Becky through the very difficult time. https://www.gofundme.com/f/archiemenkes
