A ROAD has reopened following a two-vehicle collision near Ruthin, it has been confirmed.
North Wales Police stated just before 2.30pm on Saturday that due to a collision on the A494 at Llanbedr DC, the road was closed between the junction of the Griffin Pub and the junction for the B5430 for Llanarmon yn Ial.
Traffic Wales confirmed at 5.45pm that the incident had cleared and the a494 between Llanferres and Ruthin had reopened in both directions.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a call was received at 1.10pm reporting a two-car collision.
Two crews - one from Wrexham and the other from Mold - attended the scene.
Firefighters extricated one male from a vehicle.
A spokesman for the service said three casualties have been taken to hospital.
After making the vehicles safe, the fire crews left the scene.
