THE FAT Boar chain has opened a new steakhouse in Wrexham city centre.
The new eatery, named CarniBoar, opened its doors on the High Street on Wednesday (July 20)- taking over the former Frisky Pudding and Belushimo sites.
Opening hours for the next three weeks are 4pm until 10pm Wednesday to Friday, 4pm and 11pm on Saturday and between 2pm and 10pm on Sunday.
Richard Watkin, owner of the Fat Boar chain, which has pub restaurants in Mold, Wrexham and Ruthin, said there has been an "amazing response" from the local community to the news of the new steakhouse.
Wrexham Lager's new 'Club Pilsener is on sale in the steakhouse. It is the first beer produced by Wrexham Lager in around two years and is brewed with German premium malt.

The Fat Boar chain has grown quickly after first opening in Mold in 2015, with a second site in Wrexham added in 2016. The Fat Boar also then took on Maesgwyn Hall as a function venue in Wrexham in 2021 before taking over On The Hill in Ruthin after its closure during the pandemic.
