The times of bin collections in Wrexham will change tomorrow morning (Tuesday, July 19) as a result of the extreme heat.
Parts of Wrexham are predicted to see a temperature of up to 36 °C today and Tuesday is set to also be warm, with the Amber warning for extreme heat still in place.
Wrexham Council will now be changing collection times on bins tomorrow so that the crews can avoid the heat.
The council said: “Our waste collections will start at 6 am tomorrow, rather than 7.30am.
“This will help our crews avoid the hottest times of the day.
“Please put your bins/boxes/bags out tonight if possible. Collections may be suspended if the weather becomes too hot for our teams.
“If your collection is missed, please be patient while we work to complete collections as quickly as possible.”
