WREXHAM community hub, Yellow and Blue is helping families this summer by offering free packed lunches for children in the city centre.
The scheme will see 30 lunches made daily available to the public on a first come first served basis which contribute to the 1,260 lunch packs that will be handed out over the course of the summer.
A spokesperson for Yellow and Blue said: “If you are visiting Wrexham this summer and are feeling the pinch with the cost-of-living crisis, at YaB we will be making 30 children’s lunch packs a day, they’ll have a three-day shelf life refrigerated and we are not requesting them to be eaten at YaB.

“Just pop to town, enjoy yourself, have a walk around seeing the many activities that will be on and pick up a pack, we will stick them up daily and a total of 1,260 will be made
“We also run the suspended coffees scheme, as we have done since day one, if you can spare a coffee put one on the board, if you need one, ask one of our lovely staff.
“Popping to town, should be within reach of every member of our community.”
