Wrexham AFC has confirmed they will play an in-house practice game at Hotel Golf Campoamor.
The news comes following the cancellation of the originally planned pre-season friendly against the La Guajira Region XI on Tuesday, July 19 due to COVID-19 cases in the opposition camp.
In a recent statement the club said: “Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to find new opposition for the game and will instead now host an in-house practice game at Hotel Golf Campoamor.
“The practice match, which will kick off at 10.30am, will still be open to supporters.

Wrexham AFC would like to apologise for any inconvenience the rearrangement has caused, which was due to circumstances beyond our control.”
Boss, Phil Parkinson, said: “I’m looking forward to spending time in Spain with the players. I know there’s been disappointment with one of the games getting called off, but that was out of our hands.
“We have a fantastic training camp ahead and I hope it will benefit us.”
Supporters travelling to Spain are advised that the venue capacity is for 300 spectators and the facilities are limited. The address for the venue is as follows:
