A NORTH Wales pub has had a new lease of life after being given an eye-catching makeover.
The Aqueduct Inn is a much-loved pub due to its location, offering stunning panoramic views of the Llangollen canal.
But now, the Froncysyllte-based pub has a new feature to further capture the eye of passers-by.

That is because sign writer Alan Baillie has been busy painting a striking mural onto the side of the building.
It features a Welsh Dragon and even the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct which the Llangollen area is famous for.

Locals have been taking to Facebook this week to share their thoughts on the makeover, with most blown away by how 'amazing' it looks.
Andy Williams, who sent the above picture into the Leader, said: "The Aqueduct Inn has had a very impressive face lift in the shape of this new wall mural.
"Alan Baillie has done an amazing job on the pub wall - it's a new local landmark!
"I'd heard he was doing 'a mural' but thought he was talking about one inside the pub, but this is outside and is epic."
