A cake shop in Mold has announced it will celebrate one year since opening with several giveaways, vouchers and a raffle.
Cravin Bakery, which is based in the Daniel Owen’s precinct in Mold, has been open for just over one year.
After a life long love of baking for friends and family, wife and husband duo Jamie-Lee and Luke Anderson, started selling baked treats online back in 2019.
In September 2020 the couple set up a stall in Mold’s outdoor market before opening it’s doors to the bakery on July 10, 2021.
The store sells a range of delicious goods from brownies, cakes, cookies and most recently delicious dog treats.

In a post on their Facebook page they announced it is celebrating their one year anniversary on Friday(15th) and Saturday(16th) this week from 10am-3pm.
The store will be “giving away 6 goodie bags to the first 3 customers across the 2 days!!” as well as giving out “Mystery vouchers which will be going in random boxes across the weekend.”
These vouchers will allow recipients to get something from the store free of charge such as a cupcake, milkshake, ice cream etc.
They will also be giving away monetary vouchers to spend in store ranging from £10-£50.
Those spending over £20 will be entered into a draw to win a 6” celebration cake.
The team said the motivation behind their freebies is “as our way of saying thank you!
“So much for all your support this last year and we can step into year 2 with a bang!!”
The shop has recently launched a new dog treat range including doughnut inspired Dognuts and biscuits in flavours such as; peanut butter, oats and carrots.

The team was part of the Mold Carnival celebrations yesterday (Sunday 10 July) and successfully sold out of all goods by 5.40pm.
In a Facebook post the team said: "It was a fantastic day and we have loved every minute of it."
In an effort to satisfy summer sweet treat cravings I headed down to the shop to try some of the goodies myself.
Looking to sample a range of flavours and choices I went for the red velvet cupcake, cookie pie and jammy dodger blondie.
My personal favourite was the jammy dodger blondie as it maintained its gooey goodness whilst enticing those nostalgic memories of a good biscuit.
The red velvet cupcake was very moist and the cream cheese stuffing plentiful, which my family very much enjoyed.
Finally, the cookie pie is something I have never tried before and on appearance I was concerned if it was going to have a hard crust much like a pie crust.
However, it was baked to perfection and a great variation on a time old classic.
From my personal experience, Cravin is a great addition to Mold's highstreet offering unique and indulgent desserts.
