HOLYWELL town councillor, Daniel Thomas is encouraging members of the community to get involved in voluntary work in a bid to promote respect for the environment.
Cllr Thomas undertook a litter pick at the weekend with his children on the strand in Holywell – something he is keen to get more members of the community involved in through a monthly litter pick.

“I’m keen to promote voluntary work in our community and to get younger people to respect their area. By encouraging kids to take part in litter picks is a great way to encourage them to take pride in their town.”
“If we could arrange a big litter pick once a month that would really show solidarity in our community and set an example to the children.”
For anybody interested in talking to Cllr Thomas over taking part in upcoming litter picks he can be contacted via his Facebook page.
