A BRAZEN suspected thief was caught on camera breaking into a car on a busy high street in broad daylight.
North Wales Police has confirmed it is investigating the incident which occurred on High Street in Connah's Quay on Friday morning (July 8).
The footage, which was shared on YouYube, shows that at around 10.55am, a black Vauxhall Insignia pull up beside a black Volkswagen Polo which is parked outside the Tesco Express store.
In front of a number of passerbys, a man - wearing a pair of navy shorts and a black jacket - brandishes a tool before he forces his way through the car window head-first. The man in question was also wearing a blue surgical mask, navy baseball cap and black gloves.

Not put off by the blaring car alarm, or the passing shoppers, he continues to seemingly go through contents of the car as his legs dangle out of the car window before making a swift getaway, appearing to leave empty-handed.
A matter of minutes after the break-in, what appears to be the owners of the vehicle return and are confused to discover their car alarm blasting out until they witness the smashed window.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We received a call at 11.18am on Friday reporting that a vehicle had been broken into outside Tesco Express on High Street, Connah’s Quay. Officers attended and our enquiries are ongoing."
