A LLANGOLLEN man has pleaded guilty to causing a teenager's death through careless driving while unfit through drink.
Marcus Pasley, 26, of Llantysilio, Llangollen, was accused of causing the death of Abby Hill, 19, last July at Berwyn, Llangollen, while driving a Renault car.
Today (Friday, July 8) Pasley pleaded guilty at Mold Crown Court.
Elen Owen, prosecuting, told the court how he had 93 milligrammes of alcohol for every 100 millilitres of blood in his system - the limit being 80ml - two-and-a-half hours after the collision took place.
Andrew Green defending said Pasley understood the 'inevitability' of a jail sentence.
Judge Rhys Rowlands added that it was 'simply a matter of how long' the sentence would be once imposed.
Pasley is due to return to court for sentencing on Friday, July 29.
