A GROUP of Flintshire men have started a walking group to raise awareness for mental health.
The ‘Keep Twalking’ group are raising money for The Counselling Hub by walking the entire Anglesey coastal path in under five days from August 24.
Dave Pitson, Rich Youd, Steve Bennett, Leighton Cole-Jones, Gary Leadbetter and Dwaine Hall will all undertake the challenge this summer after previously taking on the National Three Peaks challenge to raise money for a friend who suffered life changing injuries.

The group said: “Our aim is to raise money for the Counselling Hub charity who provide counselling, drop-in support services and the distribution of food goods to vulnerable individuals and their families directly affected by issues such as suicide, self-harm, and depression, but not limited to.
"They offer a safe and empathetic environment in three locations across Flintshire to facilitate improved mental health and a safer community.”
As a group, we have all been affected by loss because of suicide and some of our members have suffered with poor mental health themselves. We have decided to take on this enormous challenge to raise awareness, start a conversation, help prevent suicide and normalise mental health in memory of those we have lost.”
The lad’s journey can be followed via their Facebook and Instagram pages entitled, 'Keep Twalking'.
