A FLINTSHIRE bookshop is hosting an evening with a best-selling author.
Berwyn Books, based in Caffi Isa in Mynydd Isa, is holding an Q&A evening with million-selling, Amazon number one crime author, Simon McCleave.
The event will take place on Wednesday, July 20 - with doors opening at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
To celebrate the highly-anticipated release of the twelfth instalment of his DI Ruth Hunter series, 'The Chirk Castle Killings', Simon will be discussing all things Crime Fiction.
Born in south London, but now living in North Wales, Simon's extremely popular series follows Detective Inspector Ruth Hunter, who is living with the pain of her partner's mysterious disappearance, as she decides to leave the crime-ridden streets of London, for a quieter life in North Wales. But, as she discovers, murder is still the case.
If you love the thrill of Crime Fiction, this event is not one to be missed.
Tickets are priced at £5, and can be purchased via Ticket Source here: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/theberwynbookshop/t-dvadeje
Alternatively, tickets will also be available in the shop, in the coming week.
There will also be copies of The Chirk Castle Killings available for purchase on the evening, along with a selection of other Simon McCleave Author titles.
Berwyn Books rose from the ashes after its former site on an industrial estate in Buckley was destroyed in a huge fire in November of last year.
Around 400,000 second hand books were lost in the blaze, but thanks to thousands of donations of books from kind-hearted members of the public - the business was resurrected inside Caffi Isa.
This will be the bookshop's first event since the fire.
Berwyn Books has also launched an online shop, which, in addition to the wide range of books available in the shop, will be home to rarer and more specialist items.
