INSPIRING WOMAN, Rachel Harry has handed over the money raised from her 400 yards at 40 challenge to the Clwyd Special Riding Centre.
Eleven years ago, Rachel Harry was given the news she would be unable to walk or even feed herself when she suffered a hypoxic brain injury whilst giving birth to her daughter, Freya.
To correspond with her 40th birthday, Rachael completed her challenge to walk 400 yards challenge to raise money for Clwyd Special Riding Centre which provides disabled children and adults the opportunity to ride and visit horses – a charity very close to Rachel’s heart.

Rachel’s efforts raised an incredible £745 for the centre. Her mum, Karan Harry said: “Rachel was very happy with her efforts and showed off her walking and verbal responses – all improved through her interactive sessions on the mechanical horse which stretches her cognitive understanding, balance control and strengthens her hips.
A massive thank you to everyone’s generosity especially during the current financial climate.”
