A charity Dog Show will be held at Offa Carnival for furry friends and their owners to have fun and raise money.
The dog show is in aid of H.A.C.K Horse Sanctuary, which is also hosting the event.
The classes for all types of dogs come under two categories, pedigree and novelty and each class is £1.50 to enter.
Jane Lloyd, of H.A.C.K. Horse Sanctuary said: “The H.A.C.K. Horse Sanctuary is a local registered charity, set up in 1992 by Pamela Bluck, to rescue neglected horses, ponies and donkeys.
"The charity is unique as it is run entirely on volunteers, they have to look after the animals as well as raise the vital funds to keep the charity going.
Over the years we have held many successful dog shows at our very popular open days at the sanctuary.
“It was with this experience that the Offa Community Council approached us to run a dog show at their event.
“Our dog shows are fun, offer prizes and rosettes for the winners, and are always judged by a qualified judge with vast experience. We offer pedigree and novelty classes, so there is lots of choice for those wanting to enter.
“Our last dog show we had over 200 entrants, and every one had a great time! We have a class for just children to enter – which is great for them to show off their four legged buddies, it brings lots of people together that all have a mutual love of mans best friend.”
