POLICE are urging people to be vigilant of a spate of vehicles being targeted for their number plates in Wrexham.
North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team has said several instances of it happening have been reported this week, with the most recent happening overnight.

Inspector Gavin Gilmore said: “We have seen a spate of all makes and models of vehicles being targeted for their number plates in the Wrexham Rural area this week.
“We are asking for everybody to remain vigilant and to report any incidents of this nature straight away.
"It is also advised to park your vehicle in a well-lit area where possible, such as under a streetlamp, or in a garage or driveway."
He added: “If anybody has access to these incidents being committed on Ring Doorbell footage, or on CCTV, to get in touch as soon as possible on 101, or via the website.”
