THE LEGENDARY Turf Hotel will be playing host to a 'fan zone' for two of Wales' World Cup matches.
Wayne Jones, landlord of the pub situated next to Wrexham AFC's Racecourse Ground, has revealed that the fan zone will be in place for the matches against the USA and England.
A total of 500 people will be able to attend the event, which will be situated in the pub's car park and will see the games broadcast on a big screen.

Wales confirmed their qualification for the 2022 World Cup with a win against Ukraine at the Cardiff City Stadium earlier this month.
Wayne Jones, who has been landlord there for 14 years, took to Facebook to say: "Great news - we have been granted a licence from Wrexham County Borough Council and will be hosting a 500 people capacity fan-zone for both USA and England games.
"Wristbands for both US and England games will go on sale at the Turf a week today. Priced at £5 per person per game on a first come basis."
He added: "We will have an outdoor bar and cocktail bar. Cover, heaters and food will be available.
"Gates will open from 3pm and we will have pre match entertainment. Sadly it’s an adults event only."
