Comedians Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse have been spotted at a tearoom near Llangollen.
The pair, famous for their fishing exploits in BBC’s ‘Gone Fishing’ were noticed by an eagle-eyed member of staff at the Pontcysyllte Chapel Tearoom in Trevor, Llangollen, and she spoke of how it was the last thing she expected to see when she came in.
Lianne Hughes, who works at the tearooms said: “It was Bob that came in first and I thought to myself – ‘that looks like Bob Mortimer!’ and it was.

“I asked if he was here fishing and he confirmed that he was, so he ordered a coffee and sat down. Then Paul came in and made sure Bob had ordered the right coffee!
“When they were seated, I asked if he minded if we had a photo and they didn’t mind at all.
"Paul saw my David Bowie tattoo and did a great Bowie impression – they were both down to earth and so lovely.”
