WREXHAM residents are being driven round the bend over parking fines at a retail park.
Dozens of people have taken to social media to blast the "ridiculous" system at Plas Coch Retail Park that reportedly sees people fined for walking to shop at Sainsbury's /Aldi (which are separate from the retail park) after using one of the other retailers.
One person took to the Wrexham Town Matters group to post: "Just a heads up for anyone using Plas Coch Retail Park in Wrexham, if you park on the Boots side of the car park and are going to Boots but also perhaps Sainsbury's and walk across you're likely to get a £100 ticket slapped on your car."

Numerous people replied to the post saying they've been victim of it.
One person wrote: "I've just had a fine for this - I parked outside Pets at Home to pick up dog food in my lunch hour and popped across to Sainsbury's for a sandwich.
"It's so silly - reduced speed along the bypass to help the environment but here they won't let you leave your car to cross the road."
Another added: "My husband's just had a fine. We definitely won't be going there again.
"Times are hard for everyone at the moment without having to pay stupid fines like this."
A further person said: "A family member of mine has just had a ticket now for parking by Boots (used both Boots and Pets at Home) and then walked over to Sainsbury’s after and then returned and went home.
"All in the space of about 10-15 minutes. It’s ridiculous."
The Leader has contacted the agent managing the site on behalf of the owner, but they have not yet responded to our request for comment.
The situation has been described as "an absolute disgrace", "bonkers".
People are saying the parking charge issues are putting people off shopping in Wrexham.
One person said: "Is it any wonder no one shops here when you have free parking at Broughton shopping park down the road?"
Another added: "It is killing high street retailers - why bother with this nonsense when you can just shop online?"
