Theatr Clwyd’s summer school returns this summer.
The theatre’s annual summer school is back and will play host to an exciting array of activities throughout the summer holidays.
Children from the ages of 5-14 can expect crafts, dance, music making, and many more theatre-based activities led by a team of artists who will make the experience accessible and inclusive for all.
Theatr Clwyd’s Summer Hubs will also be making a comeback which is aimed at young people who are referred through Flintshire Social Services, with 60 places available. summer hubs offer support and a creative space for vulnerable young people in the local area.
Director of Creative Engagement, Gwennan Mair said: “It’s wonderful to be running summer schools and summer hubs again this year. We have over 25 artists and practitioners ready to run a huge variety of work that’s fun and inclusive for everyone. Seeing young people grow throughout the time they are with us is incredible.”
Summer schools will take place across August depending on the age range:
- Ages 5-7, 8th August – 11th August
- Ages 8-10, 15th August – 19th August
- Ages 11-14, 22nd August – 26th August
