The stadium plans, which would see a new 5,500 seater stand built at the KOP end are part of a 'Wrexham Gateway' bid that is set to be launched by Wrexham Council next month.
A petition was set up in an attempt to secure as many signatures as possible ahead of the application being made.

It is hoped the significant number of signatures will contribute to a potential successful bid.
As it stands, there have been 13,144 signatures, with the target being 15,000 ahead of the closing of the Change.org campaign this Friday (June 17).

The squad, who had qualified for Wales' first World Cup since 1958 a few days before, donned shirts supporting the campaign during their warm up.
