LUCAS OIL have ended their sponsorship deal with Wrexham AFC after just two weeks.
It was announced on May 30, that the US based company had become the club's official oil sponsor and the new sponsor for the University End Stand, after the WREXRENT deal came to an end.
Lucas Oil, founded by Forrest and Charlotte Lucas, are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of engine oils, engine additives and workshop lubricants for the automotive and specialty markets.

On the day of the announcement, Wrexham CEO Fleur Robinson said: “We are delighted to be welcoming another big-name international sponsor to the Football Club."
Lucas Oil UK can confirm it has proactively withdrawn from its sponsorship deal with @Wrexham_AFC. The change in direction & withdrawal were accepted by the Club. These changes go into effect immediately. We wish the organisation continued success. No further comment will be made

However, today the American Oil company announced they had withdrawn their sponsorship deal from the club.
A statement said: "Lucas Oil UK can confirm it has proactively withdrawn from its sponsorship deal with @Wrexham_AFC.

"The change in direction & withdrawal were accepted by the Club.

"No further comment will be made."
Wrexham AFC said there would be no further comment on the decision from the club.
