The monthly café will run from 11 am to 2 pm beginning on Saturday, June 25 and will help people learn to throw-away items that can be reused and recycled.

Items brought in will be assessed by one of the volunteer fixers, and if a particular part is needed to complete the repair you will be advised then and asked to purchase it and bring it back to the Cafe for completion (although this may not always be necessary).
People will then be invited to sit with the fixer whilst they repair the item. There is no charge for fixing items but it is asked if people could donate to the Cafe.
So far, a total of 15 volunteers have offered their help to the Cafe but Repair Cafe Wrecsam is looking for others who can offer skills in admin, spreadsheets, meeting and greeting, filling online forms, electrical, pat testing, sewing, general DIY, jewellery repair, bicycle repair, mobile phone repair, computer repair, electrical repair, woodwork repair, and first aid skills/certificate.
