POLICE patrols are set to be stepped up at a Wrexham-based football club subjected to vandalism.
Over recent months, the likes of Gresford Athletic have suffered damage at their ground with seats being ripped from the stand.
Now, Rhostyllen Football Club is the latest to fall victim to vandals.
North Wales Police have said they will be stepping up their patrols in the area after the dug outs were damaged at The Rec ground.
The force posted this picture of the damage which clearly shows two holes in the substitute's bench.

A statement from NWP's Wrexham Town team read: "We will be increasing patrols in the area of Rhostyllen Football Club after receiving reports of damage to the dug outs.
"If you have any information about this incident please call 101 and quote reference 22000388602."
Rhostyllen Football Club has been approached for comment.
