A FORMER care home in Flintshire which features 49 bedrooms has gone up for sale for over one million pounds.
The former Cottage Nursing Home is located on Hendy Road in Mold.
It has been brought to the market by Manchester-based Christie & Co for a price of £1,250,000.
The operating company of the Cottage Nursing home fell into administration in September 2021 and the care home was then closed in February 2022.
The former Cottage Nursing home is now being offered to the market on a vacant possession basis and is available by way of an asset sale, with the CIW registration having lapsed.

The availability of the former Cottage Nursing Home represents an outstanding opportunity to acquire a substantial, vacant care home with exciting potential to re-open, subject to any necessary consents.
Christie & Co say the property would suit experienced care home providers seeking to expand their portfolios.
Alternatively, the property might also suit property developers and investors seeking to redevelop the site, subject to the necessary consents.
