A 'HANDSOME' young pup is aiming to become the Cheshire and North Wales Police Dog Unit's latest recruit.
The Alliance Police Dogs is a collaboration between North Wales Police and Cheshire Constabulary to provide General Purpose, Firearms Support and Specialist Search Dogs.
These furry friends support officers' ranging policing activities – from tackling serious and organised crime to helping bring vulnerable people back to a place of safety.

Specialist search dogs within the unit, which has over 40 dogs, are also trained to detect firearms, ammunition, cash and drugs.
The latest recruit to undergo training is four-month-old Reggie the German Shepherd.
A spokesperson for the unit said: "Look at this handsome lad! Meet TPD Reggie.
"Reggie is a four-month-old pup who will be living with one of our instructors and starting his training to become a General Purpose dog. Wish him luck."
