WREXHAM AFC co-owner Rob McElhenney says he and fellow chairman Ryan Reynolds are 'just getting started' as the club's season comes to an end.
Saturday afternoon (May 28) completed a treble of recent heartbreaks for Wrexham as they lost out 5-4 after extra time to Grimsby Town in the National League play-off semi-final.
Missing out on promotion followed on from missing out on the league title and a 1-0 defeat to Bromley in the FA Trophy final at Wembley.

But, despite that, the majority of supporters seem to still be hopeful that there are great times ahead for the Reds in the not so distant future.
The takeover of the club by stars Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds just over a year ago has certainly created a new buzz both on and off the pitch in Wrexham.
And both owners have been very much hands-on when it comes to their ownership too, regularly appearing at the Racecourse ground - including in Saturday's match v Grimsby.
In a Tweet published earlier tonight (Sunday, May 29), Rob has thanked the club and its fans for welcoming both both of them into 'you community'.
Congratulations to @Wrexham_AFC for a magical season. The supporters embraced this club with everything they had and the team fought to the end.

The 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' actor praised the players for a 'magical season' and supporters for giving 'everything they had' to the club.
After missing out on promotion on Saturday, next season will now be Wrexham's 15th in the National League.
But, Rob has promised that the Hollywood duo are 'just getting started' as the current season comes to a close.
A big summer now lies in wait for the club as they once again look for a return to the English Football League come the end of the 22/23 season.
