As the region's pubs and bars return to normality - the Leader is again shining a light on the industry with our Pub of the Week feature.
This is an opportunity for landlords and landladies from across Wrexham and Flintshire to have the chance to showcase their establishment.
Now more than ever, it's vital to support our local businesses.

BOARS HEAD
High Street, Holywell
Every successful pub has that certain thing that keeps customers returning, and the Boars Head is no different.
Graham Jones has been landlord at the Flintshire venue for two years, and it's music to the ears of regulars and newcomers alike.
With some industry magic by Chris Noble, Boars Head bar and events manager, the town centre pub is now a music hotspot, featuring live acts every weekend.
Chris, 60, said: "It was a memorable moment that since October 2021 we moved to becoming a live music venue. We now have live music every Friday and Saturday.
"A lot is more of the 60s, 70s and 80s singalong music. We feature duos and solo acts, as well as bands, and cover a broad variety of music. From jazz and soul to folk, country and rock, something for everyone to enjoy."
But the focus on entertainment doesn't stop there.
Chris adds: "In addition to the live music we have an Open Mic night on the last Thursday on very month and a music quiz on the first Thursday of the month.
"We also have multiple TV screens, including a large six-TV video wall, which are used for all major sporting events.
"And we have a large TV is our recently refurbished garden area, which provides a comfortable sheltered space for those who prefer to sit outside."
Despite the challenges faced during the pandemic, things are definitely looking up for the team at the Boars Head.
Chris said: "Covid has been a big challenge, as it hit as soon as we opened. But we obeyed all the rules, opened and closed when were supposed to, and followed all the proper guidance.
"But it was also through that period that we gained a lot of support from the community because we were doing things the right way.
"Things have changed, and people are ready to come out and enjoy themselves. It's a happy atmosphere.
"With the help of a good team and great customers, we have turned it all around and continue to do so."
Asking if things had picked up to where they were before covid, it was good to hear Chris say "yes, if not better".
The pub doesn't currently do food but Chris explains there are plans to provide simple bar food in the near future, and we go off on a tangent briefly about the beauty of a good pie. Would be a crowd pleaser for sure!
As with most pubs, they pride themselves on being part of the community they serve, with several regulars bringing along their dogs, which are loved by most of the customers.
Chris adds: "It's a community-led vibe here and we embrace any opportunity to work with the community.
"People are now more inclined to come and enjoy a chat, instead of enduring too loud music.
"Upcoming for us are events for the Queen's Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend and the pub will be heavily involved in the Well Inn Festival in the town on the first Saturday in September."
The Jubilee weekend will feature more live music - including the aptly named band, Royalty – and a music quiz night.
And the best thing about running the pub?
Chris doesn't hesitate: "The customers. We have a great bunch of loyal customers who support the pub on a regular basis and with our events.
"Without them it wouldn't be the same. A warm welcome always awaits all of our customers, old and new."
• Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday 11am-11pm, Friday to Saturday 11am-1am
