The latest meeting for Chirk Gardener’s Club saw their guest speaker explain all the tips and tricks of growing fruit.
Chirk Gardeners' Club say that they were very pleased to have Philip Aubury, the latest guest speaker at the meetings, come to talk to them about all aspects of fruit growing.
As an avid fruit grower himself, his talk was very ‘informative’ and he gave lots of useful hints and tips on how to get the best out of your fruit.
Next month's talk is on May 23 at 7.15 pm at the Parish Hall Chirk and it will be 'Garden Moods and Colours' by David Race.
David is a member of the Hardy Plant Society, and he opens his garden for the National Garden Society charity every year.
His presentation will focus on the ways colours and colour combinations can affect the mood of the garden and how to create different moods. He’ll be bringing plants for sale on the night.
