An all ability cycling service based in Wrexham, has an exciting new development.
From this month, Pedal Power is opening later every Wednesday in a bid to get more families cycling.
Pedal Power has a range of bikes, from hand cycles to wheelchair bikes, trikes, mountain bikes and kids bikes and offers cycling opportunities for families and all abilities.
The service is open every Wednesday and Friday (9.30am-4pm on Friday) and is based in Alyn Waters Country Park Wrexham.
Every Wednesday the service will now be open until 6pm, and Caffi Cyfle, also based at Alyn Waters, will be open later until 6pm, so riders can enjoy refreshments and use the facilities.
Pedal Power is hoping the later opening will encourage family cycling and that children and their families will enjoy after school cycling.
As extra encouragement, Pedal Power is offering 'buy one bike ride get the next one free' on Wednesdays only, between 4pm and 6pm (terms and conditions apply).
There is a traffic-free all ability cycling trail around Alyn Waters Country Park, and there are longer bike trails around the park that are suitable for mountain bikes.
