FIREFIGHTERS from nine different areas joined forces to tackle a huge forest fire in North Wales.
A fire broke out in a forest in Corwen in Denbighshire on Saturday night (April 30).
Several fire crews and a helicopter were called in to help extinguish the blaze in an overnight effort.

Firefighters from Cerrigydrudion, Bala, Ruthin, Johnstown, Corwen, Porthmadog, Blaenau Ffestinog Abergele and Wrexham teamed up to help tackle the fire.
The helicopter was used to drop water on the area of land affected.
A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "One fire appliance, two Pinzgauer appliances and two wildfire vehicles were also in attendance."
