A NEWLY formed knitting group has designed a Queen's Jubilee-themed postbox topper.
The Buckley Knitters, which was set up just a month ago, to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II - which is being celebrated this year.
Pat Coleman, a member of the group, said: "It took us about four separate get togethers to design it.
"Hppefully it adds a bit of something to the town centre.
"And we're hoping it's the first of many - we're looking to design a themed one for each time of the year, and to mark special occasions."
The group, based at the Refurbs cafe in Buckley town centre, is looking for more people to join.
"Even if people want to just come in for a cup of tea, they're very welcome," Pat said.
"Our next meeting is on Tuesday, May 17 at 10am - it would be brilliant to see some new faces there."
People were quick to praise the ladies' work after a photo of it was shared on the Buckley Residents Group on Facebook.
It received several hundred likes over 170 comments.
One person said: "That’s simply amazing - well done."
Another added: "Wow, that's absolutely incredible. You are so talented."
