His most-watched one on Youtube yet is the song he sang about the wonders of Flintshire-based Ifor Williams Trailers alongside his loyal sheep dog Poppy.

The 63-year-old guitar player, known as the Singing Farmer, now earns most of his income from performing at private gigs across Powys while continuing to tend to his 140-strong flock of Chamois sheep and Limousin cattle at his farm in Meifod, near Welshpool.

John returned to his first love of music over 10 years ago when his old school band Storm reformed for his 50th birthday party.

Since then, he has taken to Youtube to showcase his musical talents and his latest hit sees him turn his attention to Wrexham AFC's fantastic FA Trophy run.

The lyrics to the song - dubbed 'Wrexham Singing On The Road To Wembley' are as follows:

We're the pride of Wales and we're going to Wembley,

We are Wrexham Town AFC!

With Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney,

We're singing as we're going down the road to Wembley,

And the Welsh red dragons are gonna win the medals,

We're gonna lift the cup, 'cause we never give up.

We never give up, we never give up

22nd May in the year of '22,

We all believe what Wrexham's gonna do

With super Paul Mullin, Jordie and Ollie,

We'll lift the FA Trophy Cup in Wembley.
