A FAST food restaurant in Chirk has submitted plans for an extension.
But for most visitors to McDonald's, which is based off the A5/A483, the changes will go relatively unnoticed.
That's because the firm hopes to build a new freeze and install a 10ft shipping container in the corral at the rear of the existing building.
The proposal also requests permission to build a new bin store adjacent to the drive-thru.

A description of the plans states: "Minor alterations to the elevations to include the construction of a 4.8sqm extension to form new freezer.
"New 10ft shipping container to be sites within corral area at the rear of the store behind the existing timber fence.
"New remote bin store to be formed."
A decision is expected to be made by Wrexham County Borough Council in due course.
