A NEW study has revealed that Wrexham is the best place in Wales to raise a sustainable and eco-conscious family.
A study by sustainable experts Bower Collective analysed the ratio per child of local outdoor learning schools, the number of family-friendly nature days out, second-hand childrenswear listed online, allotments and public farms in towns and cities across the UK to identify the best places to raise an eco-family.

It found that Wrexham has the widest variety of second-hand childrenswear advertised for purchase online in the UK, and second for local farm produce.
To inspire a life-long love of nature, families in Wrexham also have one of the best ratios of outdoor activities and days out - with 32 listed on the National Trust.
Overall, Wrexham ranked 5th in the UK for best places to raise a sustainable family.
