THERE has been a 'dramatic reduction' in anti-social behaviour (ASB) crime in a Flintshire town previously plagued by incidents, police say.
Holywell has seen a string of ASB incidents unfold over recent months, leaving police with no other choice but to step up patrols in the area.
Some instances of ASB in the town have included youths causing issues at the Tesco store on Strand Walk, as well as playing loud music and lighting a fire near a tree.

Officers have also dealt with youths throwing stones at house doors in the town.
Such incidents have led to 'numerous' arrests being made by North Wales Police.
But, the force has now revealed that - although they admit that incidents are 'not 100% over' - there has been a 'dramatic reduction' in the number of ASB incidents in Holywell.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "Thanks to eveyone's hard work and help from the public the ASB in Holywell town has taken a dramatic reduction.
"We are fully aware that its not 100% over and we still have a few kids who continue to cause issues in the evening but we are continuing to deal with these kids robustly and continue to work with partner agencies in order to get this ASB down even further."
