PATROLS are being stepped up in a Wrexham village where playing fields have been subjected to anti-social behaviour of late.
Officers in rural Wrexham have raised concerns over reports of damage done at the Owain Glyndwr field on Station Road in Marchwiel.

As a result, more officers are being placed on the beat there.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward and help them catch those responsible.
A statement from NWP's Wrexham Rural team read: "Anti Social behaviour and damage has been reported at the playing fields in Station Road, Marchwiel.
"As a result of these reports, we will be completing High visibility Patrols at the location. Also if anyone knows who is responsible or has any information on this please contact us."
