A new shop selling lingerie for women of all shapes and sizes has opened in Wrexham and is currently taking unwanted bras to help fund breast cancer research.
Blossom Boutique is dedicated to offering lingerie options for all women, with bras from cups A-K as well as maternity bras and mastectomy bras.
The shop is located in the Butchers Market and offers fittings to ensure that women are wearing the right size bra and are comfortable.
Shop owner, Stacey Griffiths said that it was her own struggle to find the right fit in Wrexham that inspired her to start her business, which opened last month.
She said: “Ladies find it so difficult at the moment to find bras that fit them for the larger size cups so I thought I’m going to open my own business and be able to give ladies the ability to come into a shop and pick the bra size that they need, rather than going to Chester or Mold or Liverpool.”

She said she has travelled as far as Manchester just to buy the right cup size in the past.
She added: “You’d rather just get in the car, pop into town, and pick up what you need when you need it and it’s been something that I’ve wanted to do for quite a long time.
“I just wanted to make life easier for other people, because I know myself how difficult it is to get a bra that comfortable; that fits, and is easy to pick up off the shelf.”
Anything that is currently not in stock at the shop can be ordered in and offers fittings to ensure customers are comfortable.
The shop is also dedicated to helping a charity with a bra donation point. The bras are collected by the charity Against Breast Cancer and for every tonne of bras collected, Against Breast Cancer receives £700 to fund research.
With over 30 million women in the UK it really could help make a difference and Bloom Boutique is currently the only place in Wrexham that collects for the charity.
Stacey said: “If they don’t fit, a perfect way of helping towards breast cancer research is to drop them into the recycling bin I have here in the shop and as soon as I have four bags full they all then get picked up and they go the charity.”
When you donate a bra, Bloom Boutique will give you 10% off your next purchase.
