A MOLD restaurant says it is "honoured" to have a won a presitigious national award.
Deadwood Smokehouse, on Wrexham Street, won Restaurant of the Year for North Wales at the Food Awards Wales 2022.
The restaurant is known for bringing the best of American BBQ to Flintshire with smoking meat.

And on Monday, its staff attended the awards ceremony - held at the Cardiff City Stadium on Monday (April 11).
Aidan Donovan, owner of Deadwood Smokehouse, said: "We are honoured to have been recognised again after an extremely difficult 18 months.
"We take great pride in the service we deliver as well as the food and drink we offer."
The restaurant is no stranger to winning awards, scooping a Welsh Hospitality Award for Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year and an OpenTable Diners Choice Award in 2018. It also won a Food Awards Wales Restaurant North and OpenTable Diners Choice Award in 2019.
And people were quick to praise the restaurant on its success via its social media page.
One person said: "Congratulations to you all, great achievement for a fabulous local restaurant."
Another added: "Well done everyone, lovely food - I enjoy every visit."
